La Boucanerie du Nord

We showed up as a group of friends and they did not acknowledge our presence. We had to sit ourselves and setup the tables. We were waiting for 10 mins and still no sign of the waiter. We had to get up and get a menu. 5 mins later, still no signs of a waiter and no water. We just left.

The food is very good with a good atmosphere.

Very nice experience, the onion soup cooked over a wood fire is just perfect!The place is not too noisy, the room filled allows us all the same a soft intimacy.The atmosphere of this restaurant is very warm, the staff is lovely and very attentive to our special requests!Nice wine list, my best hot rum for life! I highly recommend!

We waited over an hour to be served. Poor communication between staff as it took them a while to figure out who was serving us and to clear the table from the previous diners. Food was good but very small portions. Prices are high, typical tourist rip off.

Cosy place a little on the expensive side but good food. Directly in the center on the town. Nice terrance, must be great place to sip a drink and do people watching during the summer.

The onion soup was plentiful in croutons and cheese but the broth lacked taste and salt. The burger was ok, lacked cooking and a little cold. The french fries were very good.

A good restaurant to discover in the center of the village of Val-David with incredible pizzas cooked in the wood oven and desserts so delicious made by the chef owner, very friendly, it's worth the trip.

Great food spot in a nice little town!! I wish the service could be a little more attentive and faster!! It’s taking very long for staff to notice us, seat us, take the order, etc. Other than that, yummy lamb cheek stew!!

Super atmosphere!

This was the best meal we had during our entire stay in Québec. We had the Pintade (guinea fowl) and it was wonderful, garnished with fresh vegetables and a whiskey & honey sauce. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, as well as our attentive, dreadlocked server, who was very understanding even though we were terribly confused Americans. A must go in Val-David!

Best pizza I have ever had. EVER!

The food was good, but the service was really rotten. The waiter was very very funny, but he seemed unable to remember anything. Without exaggeration, he forgot 3 times to bring us the glasses or items we wanted, to the point that we asked another server to help us. The worst is that he realized nothing, at least he made us laugh ...

Very warm music, lively atmosphere and above all good delicious menu I highly recommend it

I had the Anchovy pizza 1/2 the other tomato & cheese i had Bococinni.also there chai Latte was amazing they served this thin cookie with a lemon tart dessert.the dessert was very good.The cookies was amazing. The next time ill ask if i can have the cookie its self with the latte or maybe two🤔lol. I think the latte & cookies is light, not a heavy dessert .

A beautiful address where we are welcomed with smile and sympathy. A fresh, varied and sought after restoration. Hearty, affordable and tasty dishes that will make you spend a pleasant moment in a carefully decorated setting. A wood oven for the kitchen escises pizzas ... in short, nothing to say!
